Toshiba, Xerox, Sharp, Fujitsu and others, are widely deployed
due to their price points, simplicity of use, size and integration
into daily business workflow. Their ability to digitize paper
document(s), convert to TIFF, PDF, RTF, print, scan, copy,
fax, barcode fax, email and deliver to network directories
make them invaluable business resources.
By using rules-based workflow processing, the TargetFax Barcode Server captures fax bar code documents from MFD's and delivers them via barcode fax to Document Imaging and Workflow Solutions automatically pre-indexed.
The TargetFax Barcode Server is MORE THAN A FAX SERVER. It can take a bar-coded Tiff document created by an MFD and perform several different barcode fax actions including:
- Rename the bar coded fax document file based on information
in the bar code in the document
- Keep or Discard fax the bar code ID page or bar code separator
pages
- Copy, fax bar code, email and print the renamed document
- Deliver the renamed document to a Document Management
System or Enterprise Content Management System
- Provide text based control files for index creation and
fax bar code
